Handling orders
From incoming order to completed, via the list or the order board.
Under Orders you see everything coming in, whatever channel it came from. There are three views: List, Order board and Payments.
The order board
The order board is meant for during service: large cards you move along with a single tap. Handy on a tablet in the kitchen or behind the bar.
An order moves through these statuses:
- New — just came in
- Preparing — the kitchen is working on it
- Ready — can be collected or served
- Completed — the guest has received it
- Cancelled — not going ahead
On the order board you can filter by status and by “Paid only”. During a busy service that leaves just what actually needs doing.
The list
The list view is for looking things up. You can filter by status and search by order number, name or email address. Click an order to see what was ordered and how it was paid.
