Managing gift cards
Looking up a balance, correcting it and deactivating a card.
The Gift cards tab under Products lists every card sold. Per card you see the initial value, the current balance, which customer it is linked to and who sold it.
The search field finds a card by code or email address.
Correcting a balance
Has something gone wrong — a card charged twice, for example? Adjust balance lets you set the amount right by hand.
Only correct when you are sure what happened. Check where the card was used first; a balance that looks “too low” often turns out to be a forgotten purchase.
Deactivating
Card lost or issued by mistake? Deactivate makes it unusable. The card stays in the overview, so you can look back at what happened to it.
