Pairing a register device
Connecting a tablet to your business with a pairing code.
You pair a new device with your business once. After that it stays signed in and staff only need to enter their PIN.

Create a pairing code
You do this from the admin panel, in the register settings.

Open the register on the device
You get the “Pair device” screen.

Enter the domain name
Your business's web address, for example yourbusiness.onavan.com.

Enter the pairing code
Tap Pair. If it fails, check that both are exactly right.

Pick the location
If you have several locations, you choose here which one this device belongs to.
A pairing code is meant for one-time use. To pair a device again later, simply create a new code.
Unpairing a device
Is a tablet leaving or being replaced? Use Unpair device in the register menu. The device then has to be paired again with a new code.
Always unpair before you dispose of or sell on a device. A paired device otherwise keeps access to your register.
