Signing in and switching colleague
Working with a PIN and locking the register in between.
On a paired device you sign in with a PIN. That way nobody has to type an email address and password during a busy service.
- 1
Pick your name
Under “Who are you?” you see the staff who have a PIN.
- 2
Enter your PIN
You are then straight on the register.
Name not listed? Then you do not have a PIN yet. An administrator sets one under Staff. Signing in with email and password is also possible, via its own tab.
Locking and switching
- Lock — locks the register when you step away
- Switch colleague — hands the register to someone else, without unpairing the device
Lock the register when you go onto the floor. Otherwise everything rung up after that is under your name.
If your business uses a location check, the register verifies at sign-in that the device is near the venue. Seeing “Checking location...” means that is what is happening.
