Working without internet
Carrying on taking payments when the connection drops.
If the internet drops you can simply carry on. The register stores receipts on the device itself and sends them automatically once the connection is back.
You see this in the message Receipts without internet — will be sent automatically, along with how many are still waiting. Once the connection returns it changes to syncing... and they go through by themselves.
Do not switch the device off or clear browser data while receipts are waiting. They only exist locally at that point and would be lost.
Online payments understandably do not work without a connection. Cash and card carry on as normal; the receipt is written away properly later.
