Splitting the bill
Splitting evenly per person, or charging per group of products.
Split bill lets you settle one order in parts. There are two ways, and they genuinely do different things.
Split evenly
Enter the number of people and the register works out what each pays. This is purely a calculation: nothing changes on the order itself. Handy when a group simply wants to go halves.
If the amount does not divide cleanly, the register asks who to add the rounding to. That way the total still adds up.
Per product
Choose Select products when everyone pays for their own items. You tick what is being paid now and tap Charge group. The register keeps the rest, and Next group takes you on until everything is paid.
- 1
Select the first person's products
You immediately see the amount.
- 2
Charge that group
Pick the payment method as usual.
- 3
Move on to the next
The register shows how many groups are left.
Not sure which you need? “Split evenly” changes nothing on the order and is the safer one; use “Select products” when the amounts per person genuinely differ.
