Setting up payment methods
Deciding per channel how customers can pay.
Payment methods are set per channel. That way you can offer prepayment online only, while accepting cash or card at the register.
You find them under Settings › Sales channels, below each channel under “Payment methods for this channel”.
The methods
- Pay at pickup — the customer pays when collecting
- Pay directly at the register — the customer pays immediately to place the order
- Card terminal — payment through your card machine
- Pay online — via Stripe, Mollie or Sentoo
- Gift card — paying with an issued gift card
Enabling online payments
For online payments you first connect a payment provider under Settings › Payment methods. After that you can tick that method per channel.
After connecting, always test one real order for a small amount. That way you know the money lands in the right account before you let customers loose on it.
