Turning on sales channels
Switching the webshop, kiosk and register on or off separately.
Onavan has three channels you sell through. You switch them on or off separately under Settings › Sales channels.
- Online ordering — the webshop where customers order themselves
- Kiosk — the self-service kiosk in your venue
- POS register — the register a staff member uses to ring up an order
Just starting out? Turn on only the register first. You can enable the webshop later, once your menu and payment methods are fully set up.
Extra settings per channel
The same screen also covers a few practical things:
- Minimum order amount — applies to online ordering only, not kiosk or register
- Preparation time — how long you need for an order
- Register day close required — forces the register to be closed properly
- Default register view — the menu or the floor plan
