Price, tax and loyalty points
What a product costs, what tax it includes and what it earns in points.
The product form has three fields to do with money and points.
- Price — the amount the customer pays
- Tax (%) — the percentage already included in that price, not added on top
- Points earned on purchase — how many loyalty points the customer keeps from it
Note that tax is included in the price. Enter a price and then a VAT percentage and the price does not go up — Onavan only works out which part of it is tax.
Paying with points
Want customers to be able to pay for a product with loyalty points? Fill in the points price: how many points it costs to redeem this product.
Do not open your whole menu to points. One or two attractive items work better — collecting then stays something people work towards.
