Visibility: sold out, active and time blocks

Deciding whether and when a product can be ordered.

There are three ways to control whether a product can be ordered. They each do something slightly different.

  • Visible in the webshop — off means the product appears nowhere
  • Sold out — the product stays visible, but cannot be ordered right now
  • Time blocks — the product can only be ordered within certain hours

Temporarily out of something? Use “Sold out” rather than switching off “Visible”. The guest then sees you normally do have it, and you only have to switch it back tomorrow.

Time blocks

Time blocks let you open your breakfast menu only in the morning, for example. Outside those hours the product simply is not there for the customer.

Spreading the load

The Time slot load field sets how much prep capacity a product costs. A pizza that needs a long time in the oven can weigh more than a can of soft drink. That stops your time slots filling with dishes your kitchen cannot make at once.
