Laying out the floor plan

Placing tables, creating floors and publishing.

In the Table service view, click Edit floor plan to recreate your venue. While in that mode you can drag and adjust everything.

What you can add

  • Table — with its own name, for example “5” or “Terrace 2”
  • Decor — a bar, plant or wall, to make the plan recognisable
  • Floor — an extra level, for example a terrace or a second storey

Adjusting a table

  • Drag to move, and pull the corner to resize
  • Rotate with the rotation handle
  • Toggle the shape between round and rectangular
  • Add or remove seats — the agenda uses that number to work out whether a party fits
  • Give it its own colour, or reset to the default

Done? Click Done editing. The plan returns to service mode and you can work with it normally.

Draft and publishing

A new floor starts as a draft. While it is, only you use it. Publish puts it into service.

Build a new layout as a draft first and publish it once it is right. That way you are not rebuilding the floor plan your colleagues are working with at that moment.

Deleting a floor also removes every table on it. Check first that no reservations are still attached to those tables.
