About Onavan

Built because three separate systems are two too many.

A business runs on people: the guest who walks in, the team that makes it happen. Software shouldn't get in the way.

The story

A till, an ordering site and a loyalty programme. Paying three times over.

Onavan grew out of a simple observation: the average restaurant, café or bar pays for a POS system, an ordering website and a loyalty programme.

Three subscriptions, three logins and three places where the menu has to be kept up to date. A price you change in one place is still wrong in the other. A guest who comes often is a stranger everywhere.

And on top of that, commission leaks away to delivery platforms for orders from guests who already knew the place.

So we built it as one thing: ordering, checkout and returning guests in one system, with a price that grows with your number of orders instead of your number of devices.

For business owners in the Netherlands — and just as much for those on Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

What it comes down to

Running your business,
without five systems side by side.

What we believe in

Four promises we made to ourselves.

01

One system, no integrations to maintain

With us, webshop, order kiosk, till and loyalty programme are not separate products talking to each other through integrations — it is one system with one menu, one stock and one customer base. When there is nothing to connect, nothing can fall out of sync.

02

Prices right on the site

No quote processes or sales calls just to find out what something costs. Every plan and even the payment providers' transaction fees are public on the pricing page — even if that means a competitor can read along.

03

The islands are not an afterthought

Papiamentu as a full language, prices in USD and payments via Sentoo (MCB and Orco Bank) are built in. Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao deserve software that understands the local reality, not a Dutch system with a translate button.

04

The best order is the second one

Software that only rings up sales is just a cash drawer. That is why the loyalty programme is built in everywhere — till, kiosk, webshop, Wallet card — and why marketing (mailings, WhatsApp) uses the same customer data as the till. Returning guests: that is what a business runs on.
