You don't have to figure it out alone.

A quick look together. Set up side by side. Ready to start.

A GOOD START FEELS PERSONAL

You know your business.
We help with the rest.

Your menu, your staff and the way you work are the starting point. We set up Onavan together, so your team can get to know the new till at an easy pace.

Let's get to know each other first.

An online demo with your own menu. Fifteen minutes to see whether Onavan fits your business.

Set up right, together.

Menu, prices, options and opening hours. We help you put them in the right place.

Your team feels at home.

Training at the start and time for a trial run. You switch over as soon as your team is ready.

FROM FIRST CALL TO GO-LIVE

Step by step.
At your pace.

Your old till stays your safety net while you get to know Onavan. No rushed switchover on a busy night.

  1. 01
    day 1

A demo on your own menu

We put (part of) your menu into a demo environment up front, so you are not looking at a made-up pizzeria but at your own business. Fifteen minutes, online, no obligations.

  2. 02
    week 1

    Menu import and setup

The start of your subscription includes an implementation session: together we enter your full menu, prices, options and extras, VAT rates and opening hours. Have an export from your old system, or just a PDF of your menu? Both work.

  3. 03
    week 1

    Hardware check

Onavan runs on common tablets and phones — chances are your existing devices and receipt printers (network, USB or Bluetooth) can simply come along. Whatever you are missing is standard, widely available hardware with no brand lock-in.

  4. 04
    week 2

Trial run alongside your old till

Your staff get training (included at the start) and run a few quiet shifts with Onavan alongside the old system. The PIN login per staff member makes switching easy — if you can use a phone, you can use this till.

  5. 05
    week 2–3

Go live — and cancel your old subscription

As soon as the team feels confident, you switch over completely. From then on, the till, webshop and, if you use one, the order kiosk all run on the same menu. Support stays available via chat and email during office hours.

The timeline is indicative. Implementation and training are included at the start; see the terms and conditions.

A NEW START. FAMILIAR DEVICES.

Your till changes.
Not everything has to change.

Onavan runs on common tablets and phones. Together we check which devices and receipt printers you can keep using, and what else you might need.

More about your switch

Anything else on your list?

This is what business owners ask us before they switch.

Will I lose my old order history?

That data stays with your old system — request an export there before you cancel. Reports in Onavan start from your first order; if you want to keep your old revenue figures, we recommend simply archiving that export.

How long am I tied to Onavan?

The subscription runs per agreed period (quarter or month) and, after the first contract period, can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. When it ends, you can request an export of your data in advance.

What if the internet goes down during a shift?

The till keeps working offline: taking orders and checking out carry on as normal, and once the connection is back everything syncs automatically.

Do I need to buy new hardware?

Usually not. Onavan runs on common iPads, Android tablets and phones, and supports standard receipt printers over network, USB and Bluetooth. Only an order kiosk or customer display needs an extra screen.

Can I switch in the middle of the season?

Yes — precisely because you do a trial run alongside your old till, there is no "big bang" moment. Many businesses do pick a quieter moment in the week to make the final switch.
